Overview

* It is build for IT professionals who require proficiency performing core tasks in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
* This course will engage students in task-focused activities, lab tests and helpful discussions to ensure maximum skill transfer and retention
* Students will be able to perform installation, network connectivity establishment, managing physical storage, and perform basic security administration
* Also GUI-based tools will be introduced to provide a foundation for students who are planning to become full-time Linux system administrators

Objectives

* Installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and configure the system with first boot
* Managing files graphically and access remote systems with Nautilus
* Manage system software using Red Hat Network (RHN) and locally
* Understand basic network concepts such as configuration,test network settings etc.
* Understand basic virtualization concepts
